How to Measure Quarter Turn Fasteners

Measuring quarter-turn fasteners involves four dimensions: upper plate as well as receptacle thickness, space beneath the plate and Hheight above the plate. 

• Upper plate and receptacle thickness: This refers to the thickness of the clamped upper and lower tabs, which is necessary to assess whether the quarter turn fasteners’ elastic preload is sufficient.

• Space beneath the plate: It had better to make sure there’s enough room below the plate to prevent the pin from scratching other parts when pressing down the quarter turn. 
• Height above the plate: The vertical space above the plate is used to ensure the space required for installing the quarter turn fasteners is reserved.
